Valentine decorations

It's getting to that time of year - the cards and gifts are in the shops...if you are looking for something special, what is better than a handmade or heartfelt gift for your beloved?

Shun the commercial money grabbing ideas and give something a bit more special this year - there are plenty of ideas out there thanks to the wonders of the internet and lots of generous people sharing skills and inspiration on their sites.

We have to mention good old Martha Stewart - if you haven't found Martha yes, where have you been? A much loved cooking, crafting, decorating American celebrity, Martha Stewart offers lots of inspiration on her websites, in her magazines or in her regular tv programmes Stateside.

My favourite site Pinterest has a never ending supply of inspiration too, with everything from romantic meal ideas to decorations and stationery to impress everyone...
Adorable! !! Write on bananas, at first letters will be invisible, the writing will turn brown in time and show up :):

If you are holding a Valentine's event, don't forget that there are lots of ways to carry your theme through the decorations, food, invites and even clothing. Just hit the images button once you have typed your requirements in to Google and prepare to be amazed!

In the meantime, I'll leave you with one of my favourite ideas, saved for future reference on our Pinterest page of course!

  1. I agree nothing can beat a handmade or heartfelt gift for your beloved. I also gave wonderful surprise to my fiancĂ©. I had booked one of best venues Chicago for valentine’s party. I had gifted her a diamond ring with red rose’s bouquet which was made in heart shape.
