Interesting venues...

One of the things that I love about being involved with events is that we get to visit venues....anyone that knows me will tell you that I have a love of buildings - especially old, rambling ones!

So this year has been great fun as we have been to so many different places...from castles and huge country houses to barns and hotels.

Here are one or two:

Tullibole Castle - a perfect little white castle hiding in the woods...

Blair Castle (where I was asked by an American tourist if there had been a royal wedding - she didn't believe that 'normal' people could marry in castles!)

Gilmerton House - comes complete with rugby posts on the grass out the front (very popular in our family)

Thomas Morton Hall - one of the few buildings in Edinburgh that were bombed in the war and then rebuilt.

and even Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh.

Next year...who knows! We already have bookings for some exciting new venues - I can't wait to see them all...watch this space...
